Performance Improvement

Your employees are a valuable asset; if they fall short of the mark an informal approach is recommended as a first stage.

A properly drafted and monitored Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) is designed to bring about constructive discussion between a staff member and their supervisor to identify the work performance that needs to be improved, the support that will be provided and the measurements by which improvement will be judged.

We can provide template PIP’s and guidance / training on how to implement them.

If performance does not improve over several months it may mean you need to consider disciplinary action on the grounds of capability which we can also advise on.
